Sarah graduated honours with distinction in Biology from the University of Victoria in 2003
followed by a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2006. Since
graduation she has pursued post-graduate courses in manual therapy, the vestibular system
and vertigo, the shoulder, core stability and the pelvic floor.
While Sarah started specializing in the pelvic floor in 2017 she also maintained a strong orthopaedic caseload. She has found it rewarding to be able to integrate skills learned in both spheres to best treat individual patients.
Sarah has worked in both private practice and at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. She
has also been a clinical preceptor for physiotherapy students from UBC.
In her free time Sarah enjoys swimming, cycling and skiing. She also loves the time spent with
her husband and son in the outdoors, be it paddling, hiking, camping or sailing.
